Zoom Brightens Holiday Season Again

Zoom does it again. 

Following the popularity of the video conferencing platform’s decision over the United States Thanksgiving Holiday to lift its 40 minute ban, Zoom is lifting its ban for Christmas.  The move is part of Zoom’s corporate effort to help families stay connected around the world in the midst of surging COVID-19 cases that have led to increased lockdowns in Europe and other parts of the world.

Whether you’re planning to play virtual games with pals, exchange greetings with loved ones, or share holiday gift with friends, Zoom wants everyone to have a happy holiday.

The 40 minute ban will be lifted are will be lifted:

·        10 a.m. ET Thursday, Dec. 17, to 6 a.m. ET Saturday, Dec. 19

·        10 a.m. ET Wednesday, Dec. 23, to 6 a.m. ET Saturday, Dec. 26

·        10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 30, to 6 a.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 2
