DoorDash Worker Helps Colleague Make Delivery

Taking advantage of apps like UberEats, DoorDash, and more traditional food delivery services have become the new normal. Using a few clicks on the phone food can be at our fingertips in minutes. Celebrating the arrival of food at our doors, many times we miss the backstories that contributed to the punctual arrival of our meals.

For DoorDash food delivery worker Luciano Godinez Odin, each delivery is an adventure. While out making one delivery, his bicycle got a flat tire.

Limping along the sidewalk, suddenly a stranger who just so happened to also be another DoorDash delivery worker, Sonam Tshering Singye, saw him making a delivery in the same neighborhood.

Stopping briefly, Singye asked how he could help. Knowing the importance of being punctual with deliveries, Singye decided to make the delivery himself. Unable to fix the tire, it seemed like the next logical thing.

Singye remarked he was just grateful to be in the right place at the right time.
