CNS Reopens Rome Bureau

The Catholic News Service (CNS) announces it will reopen its news bureau in Rome as part of a major expansion of operations. The new bureau will cover the regions of Europe, the Holy See, and Africa. News of the announcement was made during the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

This news comes on the heels of the organization receiving 36 awards from the Catholic Media Association. Some of the more notable awards included: Best Multimedia Package, Best News Writing on National or International Event, and Best Photograph.
