A young American hero received an exciting surprise from Captain America actor, Chris Evans.
Bridger Walker, 6, was horribly injured while protecting his sister from a dog attack on July 9. Chris Evans sent a video message to the brave boy saying, “Captain America here, so I read your story, I saw what you did and I’m sure you heard a lot of this over the last couple days, but let me be the next one to tell you, pal, you’re a hero … I’m going to send you an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it.”
Bridger received 90 stitches on the left side of his face after a two-hour surgery. He later said, “If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.”
Iron Man and Spider-Man stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland, also sent a message to the young boy within a week of Evans’ post. Bridger was invited to the shooting of ‘Spider-Man 3’ and to hang out with all other cast members.
