Child’s kind gesture to Honor Guard member at 4th of July parade is going viral

Small acts of kindness often have the biggest impact.

Wendy Collins Smith captured the moment a young boy stopped to tie an Honor Guard’s shoe during a Fourth of July parade in Texas.

 

“We need more of his type in the world.”

 

“We need more of his type in the world,” she said on Facebook, with a few hilarious hashtags.

Arlington police chief Will Johnson even took to Twitter to show his gratitude: “Thank you Josh! We should all be so kind.”
